Summer Sale graduate Malossol excels in the Italian 2000 Guineas
Alessandro and Giuseppe Botti's MALOSSOL registered a stylish win when storming home in the Premio Parioli Gr.3 (Italian 2000 Guineas) yesterday at Roma. This colt by Rahy was bought for €30,000 at the second breeze-up sale in 2011 (Summer Sale) by Marco Bozzi, his co-owner with Selim Blanga Moghrabi. He was consigned by Willie Brown (Mocklershill) who will offers 23 lots at the Saint-Cloud Breeze Up sale to be held on May 11-12.
Two Listed races for ARQANA graduates!
Purchased for €100,000 by Alain Decrion at the 2010 October Yearling Sale (consigned by Ecurie des Monceaux), Frederic Rossi's LA PEINTURE extended her unbeaten record to five when comfortably landing the Prix Caravelle (L.) at Toulouse. The handsome daughter of Muhtathir will now step up in class.
Half an hour later on the same card, Francois Rohaut's charge LUCAYAN took the Prix Aymeri de Mauleon (L.) with an efficient late burst. Owned by Ahmed Mouknass and Pandora Stud, this colt is being aimed at Classic races. He was snapped up for €85,000 by MAB Agency at the 2011 Breeze Up Sale (consigned by Ecurie Prevost-Baratte).
HARD DREAM takes the Prix Noailles Gr.2
HARD DREAM opened his Group account today at Longchamp! Francois Rohaut's charge showed a great attitude when landing the Gr.2 Prix Noailles and is now en route for the Classic races. Bred by Ecurie des Monceaux, this son of Oasis Dream out of Rose Melody topped the 2010 October Yearling Sale when purchased for €300,000 by MAB Agency. He is now owned by Pandora Stud LLC, Ecurie des Monceaux and Ahmed Mouknass.
Half an hour earlier on the same card, Andre Fabre's PETITE NOBLESSE caused a big impression when recording an easy win in the Prix du Louvre (B race) in the colors of Derrick Smith. Bought for €240,000 by Demi O'Byrne at the August Yearling Sale (consigned by Haras d'Etreham), this filly by Galileo is being aimed at the Classic races...
WALDLERCHE records an easy win in the Prix Pénélope, Gr.3
After a winning debut at 2, Andre Fabre's charge WALDLERCHE led from start to finish in the Prix Penelope (Gr.3) at Saint-Cloud in the colors of Gestut Bernried.
She is a half-sister to MASKED MARVEL, Gr.1 Doncaster's St Leger hero and, like him, was purchased at the August Yearling Sale (for €100,000 by Crispin de Moubray) and consigned by Newsells Park Stud. The daughter of Monsun is now being aimed at Classic races.

This 4yo filly by Danehill Dancer out of Well Spoken was knocked for €100,000 to John Magnier at the 2009 August Yearling Sale. She was consigned by Haras d'Etreham.
